CELEBRATE SQW GRADUATES

TMSG is pleased to share the latest Skilling Queenslanders for Work graduates!

This cohort is the largest group of students to complete the Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways, since TMSG began delivering the Skilling Queenslanders for Work program in 2022.

On Wednesday 17th July, TMSG held a Graduation Ceremony to honour and celebrate the hard work and achievements of our students with their families, friends, and representatives from the Queensland Government and the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training.

Throughout their training, students built and strengthened the skills needed to enter the Australian workforce and pursue further education. We are proud to share that some participants have already secured employment and enrolled in higher education programs, including:

·       Employment in Disability Support and Commercial Cleaning Operations

·       Vocational training in Certificate III in School-Based Education and Certificate III in Community Services

We extend our special thanks to:

Aitkenvale State School and Aitkenvale Community Hubs for generously allowing us to use their school hall for the Graduation Ceremony.

Mr. Les Walker MP for his continuous support, addressing our participants, and presenting their certificates.

Representatives from the Department of Employment Small Business and Training for attending the event and their ongoing support.

Congratulations to each and every one of the graduates! TMSG looks forward to continuing to support you in accessing employment and education in your chosen fields.

This Skilling Queenslanders for Work project is proudly funded by the Queensland Government.
