CELEBRATE EMPLOYMENT ACHIEVEMENTS

The Townsville Multicultural Support Group was honoured to host the Diverse Queensland Workforce Celebration Ceremony on August 8, 2024. We were thrilled to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our participants securing meaningful employment and to acknowledge their commitment of the employers who have partnered with TMSG.

The TMSG Intercultural Employment & Employment Hub, is proudly funded by the Queensland Government’s Diverse Queensland Workforce initiative, beginning in Townsville early last year. This program supports individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds by providing tailored support to help them secure meaningful employment or start their own small businesses.

Participants benefitted from job readiness workshops, assistance with resumes and cover letters, interview preparation, and one-on-one mentoring. This comprehensive support has been instrumental in equipping them with the skills and confidence needed for their career journeys.
