Please join us in welcoming Gloria and his family to Townsville! Gloria arrived in August with his wife and 5 children, after spending 84 months in a refugee camp before arriving Australia.... 84 months!

Last week this beautiful family were invited to TMSG to meet with most of the people who will be involved in helping them to settle in to their new life here; the Human Settlement team leader, case manager, accommodation staff, a bi-cultural support worker, a student and a refugee health nurse.

Gloria and his family are very thankful to be here and to have been welcomed and assisted by TMSG. Gloria has advised that his family will work very hard to make their settlement here is a success. We look forward to continuing to support them in their journey.
